Clicking through 2.0

This blog kicks off the web class Web 2.0 for Librarians in North Carolina- This California girl's a learner too, I am jumpin' in!

So-o-o- today's lesson notes include:
positive self-talk for learners-
remember, we believe what we think and say.
Take control of thoughts and speech for successful and happy learning.

We learn every way we take information in-- we watch, we hear, we talk, we socialize, we see...and learn all the time.

Remember, we can, we will, we do.

To achieve we set specific learning goals.
Be willing to modify goals as necessary.

Accept responsibility (listen to those thoughts) for our learning.
Be proud of what we have learned.
We are competent and effective learners.
We are always learning, take control.

Use books, mentors, classes and technology to the best advantage.

View problems and obstacles as challenges and learning opportunities.

Teach and mentor others, it is fun and affirming.
